Invitation to Echo Valley Art Auction and solo exhibition at The Ware Center

Hello Family and Friends:

I am writing to remind you about the upcoming Echo Valley Art Group Auction next weekend, and to announce a solo exhibition at the Ware Center in October.

We're hoping for good weather at the Auction, which is a great event and where you can pick up wonderful works of original art at bargain prices. Attached is the e-card. If you'd like more information, just send me an e-mail. The weather has been great the last few years, and the auction is held under cover in the pavillion. It's a lovely setting. There are great hot dogs and other treats. I hope you can come out.

I'm having a solo exhibition at the Ware Center on Prince Street Downtown Lancaster. "To be...." is an exhibition of work consisting of paintings and assemblages concerning that personal contemplation. The show will run from October 5 to the end of the month. The Echo Valley Art Auction will once again be held at Rader Park, on the south side of the Homestead Village complex, off of Marietta Avenue in Lancaster. This annual event is the oldest art auction in Lancaster County and features the work of some of the area's finest. All of the work auctioned is original art, and ranges from pottery, to painting, with a little bit of everything else in between.

Viewing begins at 12, followed by the auction at 1pm Admission is free, there is no bidding fee, and refreshments will be available.

The Echo Valley Art Group's annual auction raises much needed funds for the Lancaster County Young Artists exhibit, an art exhibit and competition for middle and high school art students. .

The main intent of the auction, has always been to share artwork with collectors and the community. Please join us this year for this relaxed outdoor art event, meet the artists, browse the artwork, and treat yourself to some of Lancaster County's finest artists' work.
