Summer/Fall 2012, open 24 hours
39th Street and Broadway (Northwest Corner)
CCNY has again partnered with the Fashion Center Business Improvement District to produce its latest Newsbox Project, a photo-based installation called Faces, curated by Jesse Cesario. The Fashion Center, which is about to spearhead its annual Arts Festival, showcases the photographs of seven CCNY members in a unique venue for displaying art - the ubiquitous newspaper vending box. Replacing the various tabloids with photographs, the images focus on what the eye most quickly discerns, the human face. The exhibit is on view 24⁄7 at the northwest corner of 39th Street & Broadway, throughout the summer and fall of 2012.
