Hands On: Still Life Drawing
2PM: Inspired by artist in residence Xaviera Simmons and her "Index" series we will look at beautiful objects from the Museum and sketch them using colored pencils. Read more.

The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) and the Museum for African Art present:
Faustin Linyekula in Le Cargo



8PM: Dancer and choreographer Faustin Linyekula returns to FIAF’s Crossing the Line festival with a new solo work following his 2011 sold-out performances with the festival at The Kitchen. In the raw and intimate Le Cargo, Linyekula beautifully examines his personal story within the context of his native Congo’s rich and tumultuous history. Part of the French Institute Alliance Française’s Crossing the Line 2012
