You will be transported on a trip around the world with waltzes, tangos, polkas, train songs, shanties, gypsy cabaret and a twist of French rock! These often underground Babes - all featured in the forthcoming 2013 accordion Babes Pin-up Calendar (Post-apocalyptic version) will saunter and shimmy their way into your heart. Jet Black Pearl (artist formally known as Yeti) is a French chanteuse one-woman dynamo from the Netherlands that sings in three languages (English, French and Dutch) and accompanies herself on a multitude of instruments (including accordion, flute, toy piano and music box). From deserts to dance halls, Torch singer Tara Linda and her Tortilla Western Trio, plays a diverse mix of styles from traditional Tex-Mex and train songs to vintage jazz. Reneé de la Prade (Zydeco Celtic Roots Rock) fuses rock-n-roll, Cajun music, Blues, French and Irish tunes into her own exciting, boot-stomping show. She rocks a mini Irish diatonic squeezebox with a custom bass system she installed herself. Reneé also repairs, sells, and teaches accordion at Smythe's Accordion Center in Oakland, CA.
