I'm writing to remind you of a solo exhibition, To be... , including seven new works that will be shown for the first time, at The Ware Center, Millersville University Lancaster, 42 North Prince Street in Lancaster.  

Please join me at a special preview reception on Thursday, October 4 from 6 to 8 pm.  I'll be there to talk with you about the work and to just enjoy your company.  If you plan to come to the preview, please R.S.V.P. to the Ware at 717.871.2308.

To be... opens to the public on October 5 with a First Friday reception at The Ware Center from 6 to 8 pm.  I'll be present for this one, too.  So, if you can't make it to the Preview reception on Thursday, be sure to say hello on Friday while you are out enjoying First Friday activities in town. The show runs until October 28.  The Ware Center (and the exhibition) is open every Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm.  For information, call 717.871.2308.  

The exhibition includes five assemblages that incorporate repurposed materials.  Two additional new paintings and a diptych were created for this exhibition series.  Several paintings familiar to some of you will also be shown.  

I am really looking forward to the event and hope you will take time to visit.  I haven't been part of a First Friday event for a while and can't wait to experience that Lancaster energy.

I'm also very happy to be a part of an invitational exhibition, HOUSE, opening this Fourth Friday, September 28, at the Susquehanna Center for Creative Arts, Locust Street between 4th and 5th,  in Columbia, PA.  There is a reception for the artists from 6 til 8 pm.  Participating artists are:
