Read-In with Annette Krauss, Laura Pardo and Marina Stavrou: Wed 3 Oct, 6.30–8.30pm

Read-in is a collective practice that considers the physicality and situatedness of any reading activity by reading together. The participants invite you to delve into a process of unusual social interaction, ringing neighbours' doorbells to request the use of their home for a collective reading session.

Their Workshop is the Home: a Cinenova screening for The Grand Domestic Revolution GOES ON, Sat 6 Oct, 3–5pm

Taking its title from the propaganda-style narration in the 1945 film Homes for the People, this screening of works from Cinenova's collection charts nearly 90 years of filmmaking, the evolving intersection of feminist politics with the 'domestic'. Films will include:

Ownership in Question: Thu 11 Oct, 6.30–8pm

A conversation between Ute Meta Bauer, Marysia Lewandowska and Laurel Ptak,introduced by Binna Choi, Maria Lind and Emily Pethick as part of Lewandowska and Ptak’s ongoing collaborative project around questions of how what is privately owned can be publicly shared, which will culminate with their publication Undoing Property, Sternberg Press, 2013.

The event will launch the project COHAB,a two-year partnership programme between The Showroom, Casco, Office for Art, Design and Theory, Utrecht and Tensta Konsthall, Stockholm.

The Grand Domestic Revolution GOES ON is realised in the framework of COHAB, a two-year project initiated by The Showroom, Casco – Office for Art, Design and Theory, Utrecht and Tensta Konsthall, Stockholm. COHAB is supported by a Cooperation Measures grant from the European Commission Culture 2007-2013 Programme. The title COHAB is borrowed from a project by Can Altay at Casco in 2011, developed in the framework of Circular Facts (2009-2011)
