Sleepwalk With Me
Based on comedian-turned-playwright-turned-filmmaker Mike Birbiglia's successful one-man show, Sleepwalk with Me engages in the kind of passionate and personal storytelling that transfigures intimate anguish into comic art. We are thrust into the tale of a burgeoning stand-up comedian struggling with the stress of a stalled career, a stale relationship threatening to race out of his control, and the wild spurts of severe sleepwalking he is desperate to ignore. Thursday is KOSU night! More More online
Friday & Saturday, September 28-29, 5:30pm ONLY
OC87: The Obsessive Compulsive,
Major Depression, Bipolar, Asperger's Movie
An innovative, funny, and touching documentary, OC87 champions a message of mental health recovery through the story of filmmaker Bud Clayman's personal history of mental illness. Connecting with high-profile radio and television talent who reveal their own arcs of mental illness and recovery, Buddy chronicles the lived experience of what he calls "the fight inside my head". The story contrasts Buddy's past with his current struggles and successes as he tackles the unpredictable challenges of making this intimate, yet universally relevant, and transformative film.
