navigating the event
Before you come check our event map for the location of projects and services or download our new iPhone app.

participate in the fun
Projects run from 8 pm to midnight with a special performance and after-party following at midnight at Elliott Street Pub.  Here are a few special ways to participate:

•    Dress in costume and join the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons as they kick off FLUX NIGHT with a Jazz Funeral Parade celebrating Castleberry Hill’s history as Snake Nation
•    Collect and re-share over 2,000 artworks by Evereman, Catlanta, Kenn Twofour, and Ted Murphy that have been dispersed throughout the event as part of their Free Art Flux Night project.
•    Participate in the CNN iReport scavenger hunt and help document the night.
•    BURNAWAY Magazine has teamed up with Sidewalk Radio and AM1690 to broadcast from the event.  Drop by their pop-up radio station.

transportation + parking
FLUX NIGHT is accessible by foot, bike, car, and MARTA.

•    The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition is hosting a bike valet at the Granite Room.
•    The Georgia World Congress Center's brown lot has a special FLUX NIGHT rate of $5.  Reserve your space in advance by going here and scrolling down to find FLUX NIGHT.  Parking is also available in the brown lot Friday night without a reservation.  The ATL Cruzers will be running free shuttles from here to the entrance to the event.
•    Free shuttles will also run from CNN Center (the southwest corner of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Marietta Street) to the entrance to the event.
•    For a fun alternative to a taxi, try Uber, a town car service on demand.  Uber is offering up to $50 off for new (code: FLUXATL) and existing (code: UBERFLUX) users to and from FLUX NIGHT.  Go here to download app and enter codes.
•    If you travel by MARTA, we suggest the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center stop.  From there it is a short walk south to the entrance of FLUX NIGHT or to one of our shuttle pickup points.
•    Find your way to Castleberry by Google mapping 101 Centennial Olympic Park Drive.  We have an information station to greet you outside Castleberry Point at the corner of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Chapel Street.

food + beverage
•    Come early for dinner in one of Castleberry's many restaurants. These will continue serving during FLUX NIGHT, some with special street side service.
•    Starting at 7 pm some of Atlanta’s best food trucks will be serving at the intersection of Walker and Nelson Streets.  Enjoy fare from the Good Food Truck and Trike, Tamale Queen, Doggy Dogg, Streatery, Munch Food Truck, and The King of Pops.

be safe + have fun
FLUX NIGHT is a fun filled evening! If you do find yourself needing assistance, please let us know.  We have on site medical assistance as well as volunteers who can call you a cab, get you an escort to your car, or just help you find that project you have missed.  Please see our event map for these and other services.  Volunteers will be at information stations and roaming the event.

services for those with disabilities
