Katarzyna Majak
Katarzyna Majak will be showing a selection of photos from two of her previous projects: 'desire' and 'dechirer', which told the story of a real wedding dress received as a gift for the wedding which never happened. 'desire' is an idealised vision of how objects may live their own life and how to overcome their power. In 'dechirer' copies of the dress were sewn so that each copy could be destroyed a different way - painted, torn, handpainted black, burnt. The result of various performative activities was photographed and videotaped.
