She is an expert at meeting the creative and budgetary challenges clients bring to her. Her experience spans live action, animation, special effects and music scoring – for well-known brands and clients in industries including packaged goods, airlines and hotels. Debbie is a leader and we are proud to honor her.

Stella Foster
Stella Foster recently retired as writer of The Chicago Sun-Times “Stella’s Column” after a fabulous run of nine years, previously working as the right-hand to Irv Kupcinet for 34 years. Both columns were among the paper’s most popular, and it was Stella’s special brand of candor which endeared her to Chicagoans near and far. Her promotion of our industry, from young aspiring stars, to Chicago production and filming events, have kept our industry in the spotlight for many years. Stella is truly one-of-a-kind.

Robin Robinson
Robin Robinson debuted on FOX Chicago News the same evening the broadcast was inaugurated in 1987. In her words, “From raising kids, to self-defense, to fixing up schools and communities, the power of broadcasting should deliver much more than a litany of the day’s events.” Robin has not only become one of the most recognizable and trusted faces on television, but she has used her position to reach out, connect and help so many Chicagoans in need. She is a Chicago treasure.

Women In Film Hall of Fame: Bill Zwecker
Women In Film is proud to introduce our Hall of Fame award, designed to honor either corporations or men who, in their careers or operations, have supported and fostered the roles of Women in Film. We are honored that our inaugural Hall of Fame Inductee is the incomparable, Mr. Bill Zwecker, columnist for The Chicago Sun-Times, and entertainment reporter and film critic for Fox Chicago News. Whether it be Cannes, the Oscars, or the Emmys – wherever there is a major red carpet, Bill is there representing our city. His promotion of the film industry is beyond compare and many a starlet owes him kudos for his coverage. Bill works overtime to promote our city and our film industry, and we are honored to be able to bestow a well-deserved thank you!
