FDLM's Budacristo @ "Holy Lives" Art Exhibit: September 20 - November 21, 2012:
The Therese A. Maloney Art Gallery in Annunciation Center @ College of Sait Elizabeth opened Holy Lives, an exhibition of contemporary artwork focusing on the images of many different figures in religions from around the world. The exhibition will feature paintings, sculptures, DVDs, photographs and mixed media work in this survey of current objects responding to, contemplating, depicting and celebrating sacred figures from Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish, Yoruba and other world religions. FDLM @ The Home of Baroque Era Icon:
Franck's portrait of Francisco de Quevedo, one of the most prominent Spanish poets, will hang in Torre de Juan Abad, Ciudad Real, Spain, where Quevedo resided. It was acquired for the permanent collection by Fundación Francisco de Quevedo. The painitng has been placed in the entrance of the museum to greet visitors of current and future exhibits.
