invite applications for an ANIMATION workshop

Facilitated by Meghan Judge An Animation workshop for advancing artists who want to branch out and experiment with new ways in which to explore their existing artwork. The workshop runs over four Saturdays and covers an introduction to animation; the basic technical breakdowns of working with movement and timing; experimenting with stop motion techniques; using a light box to develop knowledge of stacked-layering for scene movement; and editing your footage for film. Workshop dates:  27 October and 3, 10, 17 November 2012 Time 10am - 4pm (lunch break 12.30) Please note that this is not a digital animation class where cartoon / 3D animation is explored – this workshop is aimed at advancing artists who want to branch out and experiment with new ways in which to explore their existing artwork.
