This Saturday will see the launch of two exciting exhibitions at The Model;
Sam Keogh and Lucy Andrews joint exhibition opening and Seamus Nolan's
Trades club 1111 book launch and exhibition opening on the same night!

Opening events from 5 will include artistsâ talk & live performance. Irish artist Sam Keogh, based in London, focuses on mixing different textures solids and colors to produce objects resembling minerals, crystals and extra terrestrial materials. While English artist Lucy Andrews explores spaces of illusion and everydayness through her carefully crafted sculptures that are embodiments of familiar objects.

The Trades Club Revival: Book Launch

The Model is delighted to launch a new publication, which celebrates The Trades Club Revival Project. Edited by Seamus Nolan, the book features essays by Dave Beech, Francis McKee and Nolan himself.

This exhibition celebrates Seamus Nolanâs art project The Trades Club Revival, which involved much support and collaboration between local, national and international artists, writers, musicians, poets, chess players, students, punks and the wider community.

Into the Light: The Arts Council - 60 years of supporting the Arts

To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the Arts Council is working in partnership with four prominent Irish Galleries: The Model, The Hugh Lane, Crawford Art gallery and Limerick City Gallery of Art to produce a series of exhibitions as a major national showcase of works by over 100 artists from its collection.
