A preview will be held at Freeman’s on Thursday and Friday, October 25 and 26, from 10 a.m. to
4:30 p.m., and on Saturday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., just prior to
the auction.
The auction will take place on Saturday,
October 27, 2012, at 4 p.m. at Freeman’s
Auctioneers at 1808 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia.
The event will feature an international slate of
photographers as well as a host of Philadelphia artists. Beginning and
experienced collectors alike will have the opportunity to bid on work by such
historic masters as Werner Bischof, Karl Blossfeldt, Édouard Boubat,
Cornell Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edward S. Curtis, Robert Doisneau, Godfrey
Frankel, Hans Hajek-Halke, Gertrude Käsebier, Willy Kessels, Heinrich Kühn, Clarence John Laughlin, Russell
Lee, Constantine Manos, Leonard Misonne, Barbara Morgan, Herb Ritts, Arthur
Rothstein, Giorgio Sommer, and Jack Welpott.

A reception at 3 p.m. will honor this year's winner of The Photo Review Award: The Light Room. The reception and auction are free of charge.
