Dr. James Crump, Chief Curator of the Cincinnati Art Museum Wednesday, November 28, 6 to 7p
Dr. Crump will give a lecture on “Change and Experimentation” followed by a conversation with Speed Curator, Suzanne Weaver. An extraordinary scholar, curator, writer and editor, he has collaborated with a variety of important institutions such as Princeton University Art Museum, Fotomuseum Winterthur (Switzerland), and the J. Paul Getty Museum. Dr. Crump has worked with many stellar contemporary artists, including Nan Goldin, Doug Aitken, James Welling, and Doug and Mike Starn.
The November 28 program will be held in the Lectorium in the Egan Leadership Center at Spalding University, located at 901 South Fourth Street. Admission is $5, free for Museum members and students of the University of Louisville, Spalding University, and Kentucky School of Art.
