Kit Schulte Contemporary Art is featured as one seven Berlin-based contemporary galleries, selected by a panel of curators and art critics to be presented at the CONTEXT Art Miami/ ART FROM BERLIN section. ART FROM BERLIN is presented by the Galleries Association of Berlin (LVBG), and is officially supported by the State of Berlin and the European Union (EU). This marks the first joint presentation of Berlin galleries that will showcase the works of Christine Rusche, Christine Klatt, Franziska Klotz, Levke Leiss, Susanne Ring, Inka and Niclas, and Eva Bertram.

Kit Schulte Contemporary Art is pleased to announce the first group exhibition in 2013 entitled Cock-and-Bull Stories.
The exhibition Cock-and-Bull Stories celebrates the art of lying and deceiving, cheating, fantastic ideas and delusion. The artists tell us their cock and bull stories through different media, either drawing, photography or sculpture. The results are dubious, fantastic and sometimes audacious narrations about our culture and its underlying myths. The gallery becomes a place of ambiguous truths and invites the viewers to participate as voyeur and accomplice. Afterall is art itself the biggest lie, or to say it like Oscar Wilde: 'Lying, the telling of beautiful untrue things, is the proper aim of Art.'

Galerie Kit Schulte Contemporary Art freut sich die erste Gruppenausstellung 2013, mit Titel Lügengeschichten bekannt zugeben.
Die Ausstellung Lügengeschichten feiert die Kunst von Lug und Trug, Phantasterei und Täuschungslust. In verschiedenen Medien (Zeichnung, Fotografie, Skulptur) erzählen die Künstler ihre Lügengeschichten. Doppelbödig, fantastisch und manchmal provozierend dreist werden dabei nicht zuletzt jene Ammenmärchen aufs Korn genommen, die unser kulturelles Selbstverständnis im Innersten prägen. Der Galerieraum wird  zu einem Ort mehrdeutiger Wahrheiten - und lädt die Ausstellungsbesucher ein, als Voyeure und Komplizen daran teilzuhaben. Denn schließlich ist die Kunst doch selbst die allergrößte Lüge, oder um es mit einem Wort von Oscar Wilde zu sagen: 'Lying, the telling of beautiful untrue things, is the proper aim of Art.'
