Dear Friends,
To find a new team of dancers for Becomings; to host internationally celebrated Butoh teachers for a series of participatory performances; to launch a new network and online publication for time-based arts; to start six new residencies at CAVE; to continue the LUDUS educational program. These goals would make for an already fantastic season, but we have accomplished them over a period of two months!
Moving forward, as we always do, we are ready to present LEIMAY's residency at the New Museum, starting Wednesday, November 21st!
Organized by Movement Research, the residency addresses the following: Where have we taken the neutral/pedestrian body, the ordinary vs. extraordinary body? What are we interested in presenting 'via the body' currently and into the future? Imagine a future body.
As such, we have created the following activities at the New Museum:
Day One, Wed 11/21: 11am to 3pm -- Guest choreographers share views through performance-studies and conversations on the following topic: What are we interested in presenting 'via the body' currently and into the future? Imagine a future body.

Day Four, Sun 12/2: 12:30pm - 3:30pm -- Workshop open to the public lead by Ximena Garnica and Luciana Achugar 12:30-2:30 / discussion at 2:30 Both artists will be in dialogue and have a shared presentation at the New Museum.
Day Five: Wed 12/5: 2pm to 3pm Ludus Movement workshop, led by Ximena Garnica, FREE with New Museum Admission and RSVP to info@movementresearch.org
Day Six: 12/16: 3pm to 6pm -- 10 minute-presentation on residency findings and experience [part of: Final Presentations for Rethinking the Imprint of Judson Dance Theater Fifty Years Later ]
Admission to events is free with admission to the museum.
