Happy New Year! Bank of America’s Museums on Us program is helping cardholders kick off the new year with free museum access this weekend, January 5 and 6, to over 150 museums in 31 states. Entering the 16th year for this program, many new museums have joined the roster including the Orlando Science Center in Orlando, FL, El Museo del Barrio in New York City, the San Antonio Children’s Museum in San Antonio, and many more. WHAT: Bank of America’s Museums on Us will offer free weekend access to Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders across the country
WHEN: Saturday, January 5 and Sunday, January 6 (and the first full weekend of each month in 2013)
WHERE: More than 150 institutions nationwide (link to full list here)
WHY: Museums on Us is designed to provide a cultural benefit to Bank of America cardholders and increase access to the arts across the United States. The program brings new audiences and increased attention to participating organizations, which range from some of the nation’s most celebrated museums to regional gems and include art, science and history museums, as well as other cultural institutions.
DETAILS: Simply present your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general admission to any participating institution. Cardholders only; guests are not eligible for free admission. Program excludes fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed shows the first full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month. Not to be combined with other offers.
