Helen Levitt's 1980 classic of a contorted girl at the curb, nicknamed Spider Girl, will also be featured, along with rare vintage black and white prints.

CPLA marks the American debut of Kazuo Sumida's Tosa Late Night Diary and Uncle, an exotic and mysterious series taken in the early 1980's with infrared film in and around a gay bar in which Sumida discovered his uncle was a performer. An exhibition will open in February at Laurence Miller Gallery.

Fred Herzog made color slides beginning in the mid-1950's, and we are only now, through modern printmaking technology, able to appreciate his extraordinary and ground breaking work in color.
