South African trumpeter, flugelhornist and singer Hugh Masekela is a two-time Grammy-awarded artist and Africa´s most important jazz and world musician. He has covered the globe and played with just about every top performing artist. Masekela wrote a number of international hits and even topped "Jumping Jack Flash" by the Rolling Stones with his own"Grazing in the Grass" in the 1968 US charts. Another very popular song of Hugh Masekela's called "Bring Him Back Home" became the anthem for Nelson Mandela's world tour, following his release from prison. Don't miss this extraordinary musician and his exciting six-piece group, Direct From South Africa!
