Twenty-fourth Annual CALIFORNIA CLAY COMPETITION EXHIBIT
Sponsored by The Artery and held in conjunction with the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art (sponsored by the John Natsoulas Gallery in Davis), the exhibition will feature works selected by juror Michelle Gregor from statewide digital images.
 
Exhibition dates:  April 26 - May 24, 2013
 
Location:  The Artery, 207 G Street, Davis, CA 95616  
Hours:  Monday-Saturday 10-6, Friday until 9 pm, Sunday 12-5
 
Opening Reception:  Friday, April 26, 7-9 pm
 
Awards:   Cash/gift awards will be announced at the opening reception April 26. Previous competitions’ award donors include: The Artery of Davis and private donors Pat and Gene Hill; and suppliers Aftosa, Alpha Fired Art, Ceramics and Crafts Supply Company, Clay Planet, Creative Ceramics and Glass, East Bay Clay, Industrial Minerals, Laguna Clay, Leslie Ceramics, Clay People, Quyle Kilns Clay Company, and the Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California. 
 
Juror:  We are delighted and honored to have Michelle Gregor as our juror this year.  Michelle lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz and Master of Fine Arts degree from San Francisco State University. Her figurative sculptures in bronze and ceramic are in private homes, offices, and gardens of private collectors. Larger scale architectural work may be seen in such locations as the Spa at Pebble Beach and The Olympic Club on Sutter Street in San Francisco.
