Yellow River Arts Centre Singapore Base (YRAC S-Base) is the non-profit international office for the Yellow River Arts Centre which is slated to open in Yinchuan, China, in 2014.  

TALK: Artistic and Cultural Exchanges between Europe and Asia
Tuesday, 15 January 2013, 7 p.m.
A talk given by Prof Michael North, Chair of History, Universität Greifswald, and editor of the recent publication Artistic and Cultural Exchanges between Europe and Asia: 1400-1900  (Ashgate, 2010). Prof North will 
also highlight the specific cases of Batavia and Deshima (Nagasaki).

FORUM: Arts Institutions in Asia  
Saturday, 26 Jan 2013, 2:30 p.m.
The development of arts institutions in Asia and the dynamics between various models of institution ownership.  Parallel to the institutional development is the mindshare of the visual arts in social, economic and cultural life, and the challenges of their definitions and measurements  Panelists will include Mr Ahmand Mashadi, Dr Charles Merewether and 
Ms Alia Swastika.
