Guitar Recital
Peoria, IL (January 23, 2012) Alex Tiethoff, a junior
majoring in music performance at Bradley University, will present a guitar
recital on Sunday, February 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center,
located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. The recital is free and open to the public.
The recital will include classical guitar works from the 16th to
the 20th centuries, including Mist Over the Lake for clarinet and guitar
featuring Natashia Coan on clarinet; Rumores de la Caleta; and Cello Suite No.
1.
Tiethoff, son of John and Leesa Tiethoff of Peoria Heights,
is a 2010 graduate of Peoria Heights High School. He is a student of
Michael Hull of the Bradley music faculty and is preparing for a career in
guitar teaching and performance.
