How often do you drive past the 1996 Olympic torch off I-75?

Cities just like Atlanta all around the world have architectural remnants of the Olympic Games that have been folded into their present-day landscapes. Donate through the power2give website and your gift is matched dollar-for-dollar to directly support bringing The Olympic City exhibition to ACAC and you'll be our special guest at the opening party on April 19!

Commercial Art vs. Fine Art

In this week’s Art Advice column, Stuart answers arts enthusiast Greg Head’s question about how to differentiate between commercial and fine art. Is all art really commercial art? And does it even matter? Find out what Stuart has to say on the subject! Have an arts-related quandary you’ve been wrestling with? Submit your inquiry to us today!

Exhibition Question and Answers

Thu, Feb 21 6:30–7:30pm

Which of the following objects or activities are NOT part of our current exhibitions by Alix Pearlstein and Tony Labat/Tad Savinar: A bronze church, people standing perfectly still, Fidel Castro, an email to God, a woman crying every day for a year, or a PB&J sandwich? Join Artistic Director Stuart Horodner for a tour to find out and enjoy conversation about three amazing artists and their unique points of view.

News from the Studios!

Our Studio Artist Program provides 14 of Atlanta's most exciting artists with subsidized studio space here at ACAC. These are active professionals who exhibit regularly throughout the city, region and country, teaching at prestigious schools, and energizing the art scene with their efforts. Each month, we are happy to provide an update on what they've been up to, and where you can see their work. Read more on our blog.
