Outspoken Cynics Welcome

Thu, Feb 21, 6:30–7:30pm, Free

Do you speak your mind and share your feelings? Are you critical of how society is today? Tad Savinar does and is, and his prints are funny, angry, and complicated meditations on contemporary life. Join Artistic Director Stuart Horodner for a tour that links Savinar's work to Tony Labat's coffee drawings and Alix Pearlstein's videos featuring Atlanta actors and spaces.

Films About Films

Fri, Mar 1, 8-9:30 pm

Curator Andy Ditzler's Film Love series continues with screenings of two "structuralist" film classics, Michael Snow's Waverlength and Ernie Gehr's Serene Velocity. Come see the historical and formal relationship between these films and Alix Pearlstein's The Dark Pavement exhibition. As usual, Ditzler provides enthusiasm and insight about the evening's entertainment.
