"I NEED TO START SEEING A THERAPIST", is a site-specific Armory-commissioned installation on the Hudson River Park* at Pier 94 by Cary Leibowitz (Candyass). The sculpture is 275 feet long and 12.5 feet high, and is comprised of wood and steel letters, which will be visible from the West Side Highway. In typical Leibowitz fashion, the statement itself "I Need To Start Seeing A Therapist" and the enormity of the structure, highlight the humor in the self-effacing public declaration.

Join us at the Hudson River Park at noon on Sunday, March 10 for an on-site artist talk by Cary Leibowitz, where he will be discussing the sculpture itself - his largest installation to date - as well as the arc of his twenty-plus year career, and whether or not he does need to see a therapist.
