Superheroes have been part of our culture heritage for thousands of years, from the earliest mythological warriors to the iconic characters that we see in comic books, movies and video games. Students will learn how to design and draw their own heroic gals and guys from constructing forms to designing colorful costumes. This weeklong workshop is taught by Brian Kolm of AtomicBearPress.com.

Stop-motion animation is the technique in which objects are brought to life by filming them in a different position for each frame of film or video as seen in films like ParaNorman and The Nightmare Before Christmas. This boot camp explores different variations of this technique including time-lapse, paper cutouts, and puppetry, as well as storytelling basics. This weeklong workshop is taught by Brian Kolm of AtomicBearPress.com.
