As a component of her solo exhibition at MOCA Cleveland, artist Kate Gilmore will direct a public performance at the Museum featuring female students from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Gilmore’s works showcase a post-feminist take on the absurdity of contemporary life and have been described as “primal-conflict-in-a-candy-wrapper” by The New York Times.
