FREE MOCA Cleveland's new exhibition, Dark Stars, considers time as subject in contemporary art, exploring how objects and images bring the past into the present. At 6pm, the exhibition will open to the public. At 7pm, exhibition curator Rose Bouthillier will lead a discussion of the show and an interview with Michael Byron, one of the featured artists. Be present as we reflect on the past and consider the future through dialogue and art.

$10 in advance / $12 at the door This first collaboration between MOCA Cleveland and Sista Sinema features the short film Bumming Cigarettes that chronicles a brief and intimate meeting between a young black lesbian woman about to take an HIV test and a middle aged black gay HIV Positive man. The filmâs director, Tiona McClodden will be present for a post-screening dialogue with Tracy Jones, Director of the AIDS Task Force of Greater Cleveland, and Deidre McPherson, Sistah Sinema Cleveland Founder.
