Dance Center Co-Director, Katherine Nauman, will be teaching a FREE all-levels Horton class at Ixalt presents Dance Jam, Saturday May 4 at Malonga Casquelourd Center, Oakland, CA. Dance Jam will run from 10am-3:30pm. Ms. Nauman will teach from 12:30-1:30pm. Monica Berini, Middle Eastern Dance teacher at the Dance Center, will be performing with Aswat on May 5 at 3pm, San Mateo College Theater. Ms. Berini will also be judging the Belly Dancer of the Year contest, May 24-26, at various venues in the San Francisco Bay Area. Find sites and times here. Dance Center teacher, Stacy Printz, will be in residency at Z Space with her company, Printz Dance Project (PDP), May 9 through 12. LINES Ballet Training Program Program Coordinator, Katie Wong, is a member of PDP. San Francisco School of the Arts presents New Edges at the Palace of Fine Arts, May 17 and 18 at 8pm , including choreography by Dance Center teacher, Lynn Brilhante, Brittany Brown Ceres, Gregory Dawson, Claudia Hubiak, Milissa Payne, Juan Pazmino and Elvia Marta. Dance Center Flamenco teacher, Virginia Iglesias of Virginia Iglesias Flamenco Dance Company will be performing at C'era Una Volta restaurant in Alameda, CA on May 19 at 6pm. Dance Center Tango teachers, Pampa Cortes of Tango and More Argentine Dance & Gigi Jensen, travel to Sacramento to teach workshops at The Ballroom on May 19. |
