| John Lurie. Photo Jill Goodman, courtesy Seymour Projects The spirit of generosity, humor, and critique of contemporary society's values infuse many of the performances presented on all three floors of the fair, the parking lot, and the indoor theater. - Lower East Side luminary John Lurie speaks about his painting process and his thoughts on the neighborhood's artistic evolution from its heyday in the 70s and 80s to today.
- 92-year old dancer Anna Halprin's seminal postmodern performance, Mirror Piece, is re-enacted by dancers from Movement Research NY creating a quiet commentary of the performance of daily life.
- Tyler Matthew Oyer's Dadaist inspired cabaret-style performance Gone for Gold, comprised of spoken rhyming verse combined with seven songs, presents an allegorical critique of what constitutes value in contemporary society.
- The Fantastic Nobodies FREE CAR WASH celebrates the popular American fundraiser, used by groups ranging from cheerleading squads to Vietnam veterans, as a high art multi-faceted work combining performance (washing), sculpture (cars), painting (suds, mud and water) and drawing (FREE CAR WASH signs) all while dressed as members of the Village People band.
- Marni Kotak, dressed in the bikini she's working to get her post childbirth/ postpartum body ready for by summer, exercises continuously on an elliptical machine while a fitness armband tracks and projects her progress. The premiere of her work CALORIE COUNTDOWN comments on our weight obsessed culture.
- Netta Yerushalmy's site-specific choreographed dance infiltrates and assimilates into different locations of cutlog giving an animated vitality to the inanimate art works that dominate art fairs.
- In Phoebe Rathmell's, Visceral Transcendence, she meditatively constructs an ephemeral installation created from thousands of toothpicks while practicing the Buddhist state of mind known as Seishintouistu
