Kaizers to give Classics to Jazz concert
Peoria, IL (May 1, 2013) Pianists Edward and Janet Kaizer will give a "Classics to Jazz" concert on Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m. in Peters Recital Hall in Dingeldine Music Center at Bradley University.
Joining the Kaizers in this final performance of the 2012-13 Music Scholarship Concert Series are guest artists Ed Kaizer, Jr., bass, Joseph Kaizer, cello, Esther Kim, violin, Lynn Kaizer, vocals, Nick Kaizer, trumpet, and Matt Warren, drums.
The program will feature the music of Corelli, Liszt, Beethoven, Prokofiev, Gershwin and Piazzolla. The second part of the program includes ragtime/stride bass, boogie woogie and various selections in jazz stylings.
Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students. Proceeds go toward scholarships for music students.
