Target Free Sunday: May 5, 2013
Check out these family-friendly activities this Sunday at the Studio Museum. Sundays at the Studio Museum are always free, thanks to Target.
1pm: Gallery Tour: Assembly Required: Selections from the Permanent Collection
Enjoy an interactive and informative tour of Assembly Required: Selections from the Permanent Collection with a knowledgeable museum educator!
Assembly Required presents photographs, drawings, sculptures and paintings from the Studio Museum’s permanent collection that explore the ways in which certain works are dependent on site, and the viewer’s conceptual and perceptual experience of that locale through the artist’s intervention.
The tour will have something for everyone: adults, families and kids of all ages are welcome!
2pm: Hands On: Line Up!
Taking a closer look at Anthology (William Pope L.) by artist Clifford Owens, this workshop allows kids to cut, paste and tape a collage inspired by his photographs!
Space is limited—Click here to RSVP.
