Los Angeles Art Association presents Radical Stimulus, May 4 - May 31, a multi-media exploration juried by Timothy Yarger. The exhibition considers the concept of chemical reaction in contemporary art practice. The 88 year old arts organization has significantly influenced the arts in L.A. TYFA is proud to support these efforts.

Chris Fox and Christobal Valecillos will be participating with the Architecture and Design Museum's annual gala fundraiser on May 11th. Guests will have the unique experience of witnessing Fox's jetpacks "in action" as they are worn by models during the event. Valecillos designed a custom made carry-on for the runway show which will be available for purchase during the auction. The event will take place on Saturday, May 11th, 7-11pm to purchase tickets.

The 2013 A+D Architecture and Design Museum Los Angeles’ annual gala entitled "Celebrate:The Journey" brings together design leaders and creative thinkers from around the world. This year the museum will toast the artistic journey that fuels great design. The centerpiece of the evening will be the presentation and sale of unique carry-ons; suitcases, vintage train cases, modern day satchels, futuristic jetpacks, designed and imagined by noted architects and designers. The evening's festivities will include a fashion show, curated silent auction, international cuisine & music.

Jim McHugh's, 1982 photograph of Mike Kelley, will be included in the retrospective exhibition catalog for the Centre Pompidou, Paris, May 2 through August 5. This landmark exhibition will travel to MOMA-PS1 in New York City and MOCA, Los Angeles.

Light artist Chul Hyun Ahn will be featured in "Personal Structures", at Palazzo Bembo during the 55th edition of the Biennale di Venezia. The exhibition will open June 1 and run until November 24, 2013. Other artists included are Yoko Ono (JPN), Heinz Mack (DE) and Otto Peine (DE).
