Greetings!
"Western Sequels" continues its journey to the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul, Turkey after its successful showing in Athens, Greece last quarter. The exhibit will be held in a 16th century canon factory which has been recently renovated as an art center. The exhibition opens June 28 and runs through July 31, 2013. The opening reception is on Friday, June 28 at 8pm.
The exhibition includes 50 artists in all media that have ties and connections to Texas. The show was curated by Dr. Vanessa Theodoropoulou from the Sorbonne in Paris, Jay Wehnert, and me. Catalogs will be available on bookemon.com before the opening date. There is a group traveling to see the show from Houston. If anybody is interested in joining us, please contact me at 713-854-4246.
