In Season Five Everyone Dies

• Heidi Erdmann and Dario Matter are proud to announce the opening of ErdmannContemporary in Switzerland. The opening exhibition, on 24 May features legendary Berlin photographer, Sven Marquardt.  Known and established as a photographer, Marquardt is equally known for his other job which is the bouncer at Berlin’s most famous nightclub, Berghain. View Marquardt's exhibition catalogue here.

• Brent Meistre, Melanie Cleary, Gary Van Wyk and Barbara Wildenboer's works are featured at Head On Photography festival in Sydney, Australia, 17 - 21 May.

• Barbara Wildenboer and Marna Hattingh are included in the group exhibition, Wonder Works opening at The Space in Hong Kong on Friday 24 May. The opening of this exhibition coincides with the Art Basel Hong Kong art fair weekend. 

• Wildenboer and Hattingh's work are included in a group exhibition opening at Queen Street Gallery in Sydney, Australia on 24 May.

• Themba Shibase's solo exhibition Paint, Masculinity, Power & Violence is on view at the Centre for Critical Research on Race and Identity at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban.  This much talked about exhibition was previously on view in Cape Town.  View exhibition online.

• A new series of colour photographs by Lindeka Qampi is now on view at the gallery. Qampi's photographs are included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, in San Francisco. Her photography has appeared in Aperture magazine and she is the subject of an hour long documentary soon to be screened on local television channel, eTV. 

• Final week for Barbara Wildenboer's seventh solo exhibition, Disjecta Membra at Amelia Johnson Contemporary in Hong Kong.  View exhibition images online.

• Final week for David Lurie's photographic exhibition, Encounters at the Edge at the Old Fort, Constitution Hill (off Kotze Street) in Johannesburg.  View exhibition images online.  

• Final week for Roger Ballen/Die Antwoord - i fink u freeky exhibition/installation at Mouche Gallery in Beverly Hills. Watch the opening video here.
