Join Extended Life artist-in-residence Wally Cardona as he opens up his studio to present a performance of The Set Up: Proeung Chhieng. Each installment of The Set Up is made in unique cooperation with a dance/movement-based artist viewed as a “master” of their form, operating in their own culturally informed aesthetic. Designed to mine the layering of superficiality and depth inherent in the assumption of the “universality” of dance, this second installment of The Set Up began in Cambodia with master Cambodian dance artist Proeung Chhieng.
