2 days remain in this year's PULSE NY! Join us today & tomorrow in Booth A-5 for a fresh selection of works, including Los Angeles-based Cameron Gray, whose first solo show will open at Mike Weiss Gallery June 20.
Gray's state-of-the-art digital media, photographs, sculpture, and found objects combine kaleidoscopically bright palettes, white noise culled from the vast space of the internet, and a hefty dose of kitsch to form hypnotic, all-encompassing environments of hyper-realized pop culture. Cameron's flashing, blinking, and twirling imagery is shrewdly curated and speed calibrated, straddling the line between traditional collage and futuristic technology, and the chasm between celebrity, society, and reality.
Also featured in this weekend's MWG booth are new works by artists Kim Dorland, Jan De Vliegher, Will Kurtz, and Yigal Ozeri. See you soon!
