Progress made on the Irish Villages series

Above is the village of Eyeries on the Beara Peninsula. This is part of an ongoing series on Irish Villages that I plan to shoot over the coming months. The main focus of the image is the stormy day in contrast to the colourful houses in the dramatic landscape.

Fallen Tree

This image is of a Fallen Tree in Gleninchaquin in Co Kerry. The Gleninchaquin valley is one of the most beautiful spots I've come across close to Kenmare.

It is worth a visit if you're passing through the area.

The Zig-Zags

I had a pleasant day off the other day, and took on the climb of Carrantuohill, Ireland's highest mountain peak, with a group of friends from Notre Dame.

As we passed through the heavenly gates too see all of the world spread out below us, I took this photo of the zig-zag path that was our planned descent.
