ART HEADLINES: May 15
Galleries, museums + more in Chicago May 15-June 4, 2013
May is the start of summer in Chicago's art world, and this month we also introduce our summer edition of Chicago Gallery News, covering all the art happenings in the region from May-August. Our newest issue is full of art profiles and interviews as well as highlights of all that is taking place in galleries, museums and public art spaces. To get the full news lineup online, please . Pick up a hard copy of the magazine in area galleries and at the Chicago Cultural Center, or sign-up for a subscription

Once you've read about all there is to see and learn about, get out there to see some art.  Openings continue each week as usual, and there are many opportunities to see artists at work on weekends as well. There are even chances to buff up your own artistic practices as a summer schedule begins.

We are grateful we live in a city with so much to do - there really is something for everyone, whether you want to check out studio buildings in Bridgeport or Pilsen, or if you said you'd finally take an evening off to meet artists on Fulton Market or in Oak Park.  There are also exhibitions and art events taking place in nearby Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin

See you in the galleries!
