WINTER SEASON 2013 LAUNCH

Please join us for the official opening of this years Winter Season.

Featuring Pat Brassington, curated by Juliana Engberg, whose works reference the tradition of surrealist photography; leading American Photojournalist David Burnett (as part of Reportage Festival) one of the few photographers to have made images of all US Presidents since JFK; as well as the continuation of the twelve month project Robert Besanko Contemplations.

The Australian Centre for Photography is honoured to have Niels Marquardt Consul General, the Consulate General of the United States of America officially launch the Season.

The official speakers for the evening also include Alexie Glass-Kantor, Director- Senior Curator Gertrude Contemporary Gallery to speak on the work of Pat Brassington and Mike Bowers, Director of Photography the Global Mail to speak on the work of David Burnett.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 1 June - 17 September 2013.

David Burnett The Presidents from JFK to Obama is presented in partnership with Reportage Festival.

Pat Brassington Ã Rebours is an Australian Centre for Contemporary Art touring exhibition.
