ACRE relies on the support of its community to continue to offer compelling, contemporary arts programming in Chicago and provide support to local, national and international emerging artists and musicians through our residency program.

ACRE has just launched our annual Kickstarter Campaign to raise funds for our unique Residency Kitchen Program. DONATE AND LEARN MORE HERE!

We believe meals equal community and the ACRE kitchen strives to foster a place where residents, visiting artists and local farmers can cross-pollinate.

Funds raised through kickstarter will go towards supporting locally grown and produced agriculture and conscientious businesses, purchasing equipment that will make the kitchen more efficient and sustainable, our yearly cookbook KADABRA, a collection of recipes from each year's residency, and will give us the support we need to keep creating a diverse selection of considered, artistic, and nutritious menus for our residents.

This year the Kitchen is getting ready to expand its seating capacity and community space, further develop programming, broaden our connections with local farmers and purchase a gas stove and walk-in cooler. With the designs for a new green house in the works the Kitchen has a lot to do and prepare for.
