Five hundred places is a new poetry press established in Berlin by Jason Dodge in an attempt to introduce volumes of contemporary poetry to an art audience, the books are distributed to independent art book stores internationally, and on the website www.fivehundredplaces.com Each book is dedicated to the work of a single poet, and with a printing of 500 copies, each book will find itself in one of fivehundred places. In addition to the publication of books poetry, readings hosted by different galleries, art centers and museums hope to further contribute to the alliance between art and poetry.
