After a successful collaboration on the launch of CONTEXT Art Miami this past December, I am honored to continue my engagement with Art Miami, LLC., one of the most respected art fair production companies, as a consultant for programming and communications for the 2013 editions of Art Southampton and CONTEXT.

Last year Art Southampton attracted 4,000 guests for its VIP Preview benefitting the Southampton Hospital. Over the course of the fairs five-day run nearly 12,000 collectors, curators, art advisors and designers could be seen touring the prestigious selection of exhibiting galleries. This year's opening night preview will once again benefit the Southampton Hospital. Art Southampton is pleased to have expanded its partnership with the hospital by donating use of the pavilion for their annual Summer Party fundraiser in August.

Special Programming:

For Art Southampton 2013 we have organized an impressive series of special exhibitions, panel discussions, and VIP events to complement the important works presented by our exhibitors.  

We are excited to collaborate with exhibitor MagnanMetz to present a major sculptural installation by Alexandre Arrechea from the celebrated "Park Avenue Project" series.

Renowned painter and Long Island native Eric Fischl will curate a special exhibition of works by well-known artists from The New York Academy of Art, where he serves as Senior Critic.

Accompanying a retrospective of Andy Warhol's work organized by Valentine Gallery will be a panel discussion featuring Bob Colacello, author of "Holy Terror: Any Warhol Close Up," Lana Jokel, Director of "Andy Warhol: Ultra Violet," and Christina Strassfield, Chief Curator at Guild Hall.

Art Southampton will again take place on the sprawling 18-acre estate of the Southampton Elks Lodge, adjacent to the Southampton Golf Club, conveniently located just off of Route 27 A. The 100,000 square-foot pavilion specially designed for the fair will offer excellent visitor amenities including air-conditioning, carpeted floor, cafes, a VIP lounge, ample seating, restrooms, and parking with valet services.
