Charley Harper had a supernatural x-ray like ability to sort out the key elements in any subject with grace and ease. Elegantly curated by Marty Walsh, the exhibit highlights some of Charley’s most dazzling and subtle color work . The mid- century produced silkscreens, many hand pulled by Charley himself, combined with some truly rare treats like the actual construction for the BLACK BILLED MAGPIE and the actual painting of a spare Harper masterpiece HAWK ALOFT make this exhibit a must see!
