NASHVILLE, Tenn (June 6, 2013)—L.A. film and production company, SkipStone Pictures, concluded its Nashville film and production schedule Saturday morning, June 1st, 2013. A motion picture befitting Music City, Tennessee and depicting a true-to-life story of the rises and falls of a country music legend, Like A Country Song (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus) was filmed at various locations within minutes of Music Row under the direction of producer/director Johnny Remo, with the support from Executive Producers Allan and Megan Camaisa from Risen Media, and co- producers Daniel Backman and Tammy Hyler (producer/music supervisor).
The shoot schedule included locations such as The Station Inn, Shelby Street Bridge, Blue Bar, The Listening Room, Tater Shack Studio (Nashville, TN) Kimbros Café (Franklin, TN), Riverbend Nurseries (Thompson Station, TN), The United Methodist Church of College Grove, The Cowboy Store (Franklin, TN), and The Baymont Inn and Suites (Brentwood, TN).
Epitomizing the storyline behind every well-written country music hit single, Like A Country Song is a title that fits like a pair of worn in boots. The movie is a story of an “up and coming” country music singer, and the life, death and life again of both his family and career. Like A Country Song is a film about forgiveness, redemption, and a family’s struggle to take what’s been broken and make it unbroken once again.
