Harlem Renaissance: A Celebration of Art & Culture
June 1 - August 25, 2013

Our summer exhibit, Harlem Renaissance: A Celebration of Art & Culture is now open. Please come by and check it out. Being shown in conjunction with the SITES sponsored William H. Along with these two amazing exhibits, the Museum will be hosting several events that tie in to the Harlem Renaissance theme.

Juneteenth Celebration - June 21, 2013
Poetry and Jazz Day - July 6, 2013
A Night at the Apollo - August 17, 2013
Bob Ray Sanders Lecture - TBA

For more information, visit our website. Tickets for events and the exhibit can be purchased online through the Arlington Museum of Art Website: arlingtonmuseum.org
Summer Internships
Summer 2013
The Museum will have some spots available for summer internships, both with the Summer Art Camps and with the Museum itself.

The Summer Art Camp internships are geared toward teaching aides and student teachers who want to get hands-on experience assisting teachers in the classrooms. Interns will be working directly with teachers and students carrying out lesson plans and activities.

Museum Interns will be aiding the Museum in day to day functions, assisting in the office and daily running of the museum. This would be a great opportunity for college students and can go on your resume to future employers.

All internships are unpaid. Summer Camp Interns will be subject to background checks before approval.
