This new edition by Christiane Baumgartner was made after a residency in London and depicts an East London skyline.

DEXTER DALWOOD
Dexter Dalwood's work is currently the subject of a major retrospective exhibition at the Kunsthaus Centre PasquArt in Biel, a worthwhile excursion from the fair. We will be showing The Apartment (after Delacroix), a series of four prints, which reference the hugely influential painting by Delacroix, Femmes d'Alger dans leur appartement.

Ten Hand-Colored Tools (1)
Everyday household tools were among the first recurring subjects in Dine’s work, appearing as real objects appended to his paintings as early as 1961, and reappearing consistently ever since. We will be showing early Dine tool pieces from the seventies alongside this more recent hand-painted lithograph.

Named after the memoir of Sei Shōnagon during her time as court lady to Empress Consort Teishi in 11th-century Japan, this new installtion by Edmund de Waal will be exhibited for the first time at Art Basel.
