ASC Quarterly International Juried Online Competition - Open Portfolio | Deadline: Sunday, June 30

A Singular Creation presents a series of quarterly online juried competitions. Our current competition is open to all artists and photographers worldwide, working in any media, excluding video. All styles of art will be accepted. There is no theme for this contest. Submit your very best new work. There will be $1,300 in total cash and prizes. Breakdown of prizes is below. Art in Cloud Party Contest | Wednesday, June 12

Virtual world Cloud Party is pleased to announce a very exciting community event in celebration of their first anniversary. In collaboration with Ben Davis, editor of Artinfo Magazine, they are sponsoring an Art in Cloud Party competition with a first prize of $1,000.00 (USD). The theme is "Monumental Work of Public Art". 3D works will be judged on originality of concept, personal voice, how well it takes advantage of the virtual environment, and overall coherence of vision.

The guidelines for the competition are wide open. The artwork can be visual, interactive, collaborative - whatever meets the artist's definition of art and reflects the theme. Bike + Rack = Art - Call to Artists | Friday, June 21

The Geneva Cultural Arts Commission in Geneva, Illinois is seeking original unique design concepts for the initial phase of the Artist/Designer Bike Rack Project called Bike + Rack = Art. The program is slated to be a recurring annual competition. The size and location of the racks may vary. You need not be a resident of Geneva to enter. The competition is open to all.

Artists and Designers are invited to submit design proposals for unique sculptural bike racks at select downtown Geneva, Illinois locations. The selected designs will be fabricated and become part of the Public Art collection of the City Of Geneva. This is an ideal opportunity for both emerging and established artists. The initial proposals are for concepts only. There is no cost to enter. Fabrication skills are not required; The Cultural Arts Commission will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of winning bike rack designs should the winning artist not have the facilities to fabricate the design. Prior public art experience is not a requirement.

15th Annual Landscape Juried Online International Art Exhibition | Monday, June 24

The Upstream People Gallery presents an exhibition with 12 month's gallery representation, July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, with approximately one million hits each month. Strength Call For Entries | Monday, June 24

Strength of body and/or mind (which includes personality, will, character, etc.) has long been portrayed by past cultures according to their ideals. For this call for entries, we are looking for both the metaphorical and literal interpretations of strength as it appears to you or what our present culture holds up as the ideal.

All international artists, professional and amateur and all art mediums will be considered in this call for entries from photography to wall sculpture, fabric, mixed media, all paintings and drawings including, oil, acrylic, pastels, ink, graphite, etc. Work must be able to be hung on a wall to be considered. Be sure to include a link if you are submitting a video submission. Free standing sculptures are only being considered or online shows at this time.

Accepted entries for this online exhibition will be judged again for a collective live exhibition at our Pasadena Gallery in the coming months. The artists will be asked if they wish to submit their artwork for the live collective exhibition, which is not a requirement to being a part of the online exhibition.

"Best Served Hot: Ceramics for the Coffee Ritual" - Call for Entries | Sunday, June 30

Lillstreet Gallery is pleased to announce a call for entries for its annual juried ceramic exhibition August 23 - September 29, 2013, open to artists across the globe. This year, jurors Mark Lyman and Joseph Pintz will chose more than 50 works that celebrate the coffee ritual. SMART- Science & Math based Art Contest | Wednesday, July 31

Science and math-based art demonstrates scientific or mathematical concepts, principles, or phenomena in creative ways. It can be created digitally using computers, be photographic, or be produced through traditional fine arts methods including drawing, painting, pottery, fiber arts, etc. The contest will be free to enter, and all entries will be by uploading a digital representation of the artwork onto the contest website. Entries will be accepted through July 31st, entries will be posted to a gallery on the website as they are received and reviewed to allow for viewing and voting.

Contest winners and awards will be announced and a live exhibit will take place in conjunction with the Next Big Idea Festival on Saturday September 14th. More than $2,500 in prizes will be awarded. The inaugural competition last year netted more than 900 entries from throughout the world and prizes winners shared thousands of dollars in cash prizes. The Art Sprinter - International Art Competition - New York, Miami, Hamptons | Thursday, August 1

The Art Sprinter is the year-round competition, which takes place four times a year and provides opportunity for artists from all over the world to present their art at the world-known art centers and to win cash prizes. It is an open-for-all competition, which means that we do not put any limitations on artists and their works. You can be any age, from any country, and from any artistic background to become a part of our art competition. We accept paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, mixed media. Any artworks that completely finished and ready for exhibition.

The main difference of the contest from many others is that The judges select winners on the weekly basis, while non-winners are still staying in the pool: it means that the earlier you submit your artworks, the bigger chance that you will be one of the 10 winners whose artworks will be presented in the group exhibition. Mystery Build is offering $15,000 in cash awards to participants who can create something amazing using only the materials in a Mystery Build Kit, without knowing what they will have to work with. You can expect to find some common sculpting materials like wood, clay, metal, fiber, and a few surprises. The kits are 12" x 9" x 3" and contain 5 lbs. of materials. All 2013 Mystery Build Kits are identical. Contest open only to U.S. residents. You can enter individually or as a team, and you can enter as many times as you want.
