Delicious Monsters: Plants of the Imagination Wednesday 26 â Sunday 30 June 2013 11am - 5pm
Pupils from four local schools have transformed the Pump House Gallery into a hothouse of plants inspired by Battersea Park in the upcoming exhibition Delicious Monsters: Plants of the Imagination. From Wednesday 26th â Sunday 30th June, 11am â 5pm, you are invited to come and explore the childrenâs imaginative creations. Step into St Georgeâs Primary School's tropical landscape complete with a giant plant and a colourful textiles banner. Explore the intricate detail of Christ Churchâs drawings made using garden tools, twigs with prints from leaves. Or immerse yourself in Falconbrookeâs garden, where recycled bottles and wallpaper have been transformed into beautiful flowers. Then climb up into the tree tops in Westbridge Primary Schoolâs âletter gardenâ and look out for the elusive new resident to Battersea Park â the bright green Rose-Ringed Parakeet.
